The E- Z Up Safety Post has a patented design that is easily installed and stows inside the existing roof hatch curb.

After the user opens the roof hatch, the post is raised with one hand and locked into an upright position. The user can then climb from the ladder to the rooftop using the post for a hand hold.

The post can be retracted and the roof hatch closed while the user is on the roof as per OSHA requirements.

Mounting: Mounts to the front inside curb with six self-tapping screws. See photo below.

OSHA: Meets 42” requirement when mounted on roof hatch with greater than 8” curb projection above roofline.

Installation: Mount unit to the hatch frame using self tapping screws as provided. Line up bracket with post down, screw in place making sure that the post does not interfere with any of the hatch parts. Screw in bracket from the top holes first, then the bottom two holes then complete.
